We’re back at Barbès, the best listening room in all of the five boroughs, from 10 to 11:55 pm for two sets of whatever it is that we do, with tapping tornado Yuka Kameda tapping in and reed man extraordinaire Evan Hamaguchi sitting in. It’s going to be a great time! Its a $20 suggested admission, either there or in advance through this link. Don’t miss it!!
Wednesday, July 15th - LAST CALL!! swing night CONCLUDES at Francis Kite club
Due to the landlord raising the rent, July’s Swing Night with Buck And A Quarter will be the last one at the Francis Kite Club at the 40 Loisaida Avenue (Ave. C) location in Manhattan. Doors open at 7:00 for a dance lesson at 7:30, with dancing 8:30-10:30 on the big wood floor! $10 cover at the door, cash or Venmo - and dancers: give the password “swordfish” for a discounted admission - $15 for two!
