Wednesday, august 19th - Dancing at young Ethel’s
We play two sets for dancing for our monthly residency at women-owned-and-run Young Ethel’s, the coolest bar in South Brooklyn, 506 Fifth Avenue. We’re on from 9:00-11:00 in the back room. $10 suggested, so please drop by, bring your dancing shoes and enjoy drinks and bites from Young Ethel’s great menu!
Thursday, August 27th - Barbès
We’re back at Barbès, the best listening room in all of the five boroughs, from 10 to 11:55 pm for two sets of whatever it is that we do. We’ll be joined by “Tapping Tornado” Yuka Kameda and it’s going to be a great time! $20 suggested admission/donation, in the back room or in advance. Don’t miss it!!
Sunday, August 30th - Jefferson Market Garden
We’ll play two sets in Jefferson Market Garden, in Greenwich Village at the corner of Christopher Street and Greenwich Avenue. Details, TBA.

Tuesday, september 8th - swing night at pangea nyc
SWING NIGHT IS BACK! For nearly three years, dancers have come to the East Village every month for "Swing Night with Buck and a Quarter" to dance Charleston, Peabody, Baltimore, Balboa and more! Beginning on Tuesday, September 8th, New York’s leading skiffle band, Buck and a Quarter, and Oleg bring SWING NIGHT to Pangea, the East Village institution, cabaret and supper club, at 178 Second Avenue. The evening kicks off with Jenene Dater teaching an introduction to Collegiate Shag at 7:30, with dancing 8:30-10:30 on the big wood floor! $10 cover at the door, cash or Venmo - and when dancers give the password “swordfish” they can get a discounted admission - $15 for two! And remember to support your local small businesses that support live music: join us for dinner, drinks or both!
